How to Put Your Computer Into Sleep Mode Using Windows 7
In the lower right corner of the Start menu, next to the "Shut Down" button, is a button labeled with a small, right-pointing arrow. SYS, you have your prime suspect right there. Pressing the Sleep key on the keyboard or clicking Sleep from the Windows 7 Shut down menu causes the computer to go into sleep mode. If new updates are available, make sure the checkbox next to each update is checked, and then click Apply to begin downloading and installing the updates.
